DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Tsawassen Ferry Terminal to The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

• Follow Highway 17 to Highway 99.                   
• Take Highway 99 north to Vancouver.                   
• Follow Highway 99 north until it becomes Oak St. in Vancouver.      
• Travel along Oak St. until you reach Braodway.                   
• Turn left onto Broadway until you reach Granville St.                   
• Turn right onto Granville St. and go over the Granville St. Bridge.      
• Turn left onto Drake St., the first stoplight after the Granville St. Bridge.      
• Follow Drake St. two blocks to Hornby St..                   
• Turn right onto Hornby St.                   
• Proceed along Hornby St. to the Hotel Vancouver (on left), ½ blocks past Robson St., beside the Avis Rent A Car sign.                   
• Turn left into the driveway for Hotel Vancouver.

United States/Canada Border to The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

• Take Highway 99 north to Vancouver.                   
• Follow Highway 99 north until it becomes Oak St. in Vancouver.      
• Travel along Oak St. until you reach Broadway.                   
• Turn left onto Broadway until you reach Granville St.                   
• Turn right onto Granville St. and go over the Granville St. Bridge.      
• Turn left onto Drake St., the first stoplight after the Granville St. Bridge.      
• Follow Drake St. two blocks to Hornby St..                  
• Turn right onto Hornby St.                   
• Proceed along Hornby St. to the Hotel Vancouver (on left), ½ blocks past Robson St., beside the Avis Rent A Car sign.          

Whistler Mountain to The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

• Follow Highway 99 South until you reach the Upper Levels Highway, just past Horseshoe Bay.                   
• Take exit #13 for Taylor Way.                  
• Follow Taylor Way until you reach Marine Drive.                  
• Turn left onto Marine Drive and proceed immediately to the right hand lane to take the first exit for Lions Gate Brige.                   
• Follow the road from the bridge, it will lead you through Stanley Park Causeway and onto Georgia St.                   
• Proceed along Georgia St. until you reach Howe St. *You will drive past the hotel on your right.                   
• Turn right onto Howe St. and follow for two blocks to Smithe St.      
• Turn right onto Smithe St. and take the next right onto Hornby St.      
• Proceed along Hornby St. for another 1 ½ blocks until you reach the hotel driveway, located on the left hand side beside the Avis Rent A Car sign (before Georgia St.).

Vancouver International Airport to The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

• Leaving the airport, follow signs to City Centre via Granville St.      
• Follow Granville St. until you have crossed the Granville St. Bridge.                   
• Once over the bridge, turn left onto Drake St., the first stoplight after the Granville St. Bridge.                   
• Follow Drake St. for two blocks until you reach Hornby St.                   
• Turn right onto Hornby St.         
• Proceed along Hornby St. to the Hotel Vancouver, ½ blocks past Robson St., beside the Avis Rent A Car sign.                   
• Turn left into the driveway for the Hotel Vancouver.

From Highway 1 to The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

• Follow Highway 1 westbound to the 1st Ave exit (exit #27)
• Turn left onto 1st Ave (which will turn into Terminal Ave. after the viaduct) and follow to Quebec St.
• Turn right on Quebec St. and stay to the left lanes which will turn into Expo Blvd.
• Follow Expo Blvd past the two stadiums and turn right on Smithe St.
• Follow Smithe St. 9 blocks to Hornby St. and turn right.
• Proceed along Hornby St. 1.5 blocks to the entrance of the hotel driveway, located on the left hand side.

From The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver to Highway 1 East

1/2 hour drive

• Exit the east hotel driveway and turn right onto Burrard St.             
• At the first set of lights turn right onto Georgia St.             
• Proceed down Georgia St. onto viaduct.              
• Exit right off viaduct and turn right onto Main St.             
• Proceed two blocks - turn left onto Terminal Ave. (Terminal eventually becomes 1st Ave.).                   
• Proceed approximately 4 miles - turn right to enter Highway 1 East.

From The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver to Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal (Highway 1 West)

1/2 hour drive

• Exit the west hotel driveway and turn left onto Hornby St.             
• Turn left onto Georgia Street at the first set of lights.                   
• Proceed along Georgia Street using middle lanes.                   
• Georgia Street becomes the Stanley Park Causeway.                   
• Take the causeway over the Lions Gate Bridge.                   
• Use left lane when exiting bridge - lane circles onto Marine Drive                   
• Turn right onto Taylor Way at the first traffic light.             
• Proceed straight up Taylor Way to Upper Levels Highway - turn left onto Highway 1 West.                   
• Follow signs to Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal.

From The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver to Whistler Mountain

2.5 hours drive

• Exit the west hotel driveway and turn left onto Hornby St.             
• Turn left onto Georgia Street at the first set of lights.                   
• Proceed along Georgia Street using middle lanes.                   
• Georgia Street becomes the Stanley Park Causeway.                   
• Take the causeway over the Lions Gate Bridge.                   
• Use left lane when exiting bridge - lane circles onto Marine Drive                   
• Turn right onto Taylor Way at the first traffic light.             
• Proceed straight up Taylor Way to Upper Levels Highway - turn left onto Highway 1 West.              
• Follow signs to Whistler.

From The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver to Vancouver International Airport

1/2 hour drive

• Exit the west hotel driveway and turn right onto Burrard St.                   
• Turn right onto Georgia St. at the first set of lights.             
• Proceed two blocks and turn right onto Howe St.             
• Proceed across Granville Bride, using middle lane.                   
• Continue along Granville St. for approximately 75 blocks before going over the Arthur Lang Bridge.                   
• Follow signs to the Vancouver International Airport.
